Love JISMF 2010

I'm really glad I went to the Jakarta International Summer Music Festival 2010, it's about 2 months ago(18 June-2 July). Thanks a lot to Mr Yap and Dr Yeo . They are the owner of the music school and they both are really awesome.

I met soo many great musicians from other countries.
here are my guitar faculties:

Miro Simic. He is from Sweden. His nail advices are very good and very useful for all guitarist.

Miro is a very fun person! Ican't believe we performed at guitar mini festival, we sang and played guitar for his own created song " How Do You Do" which he just made in the morning.
here is the lyrics:

How do you do
I say to you
And you will answer me
How do you do....

I though everyone would make fun of us but, everyone loved and enjoyed it! hahah

"How Do You Do?" performance.

Christopher Mallett. He is from California, and graduate his mater degree from Yale University. I like  all of his performances during the festival.

I got 2 lessons with him. Plus, the extra midnight masterclasses! he promised he would teach me how to play "Sound of Bells", it's the music he played at his first concert here and i like it so much.

He's a great teacher, he's not only taught or showed me how to play guitar good but he also motivated and supported his students, he can make people love music, he maybe can hypnotize people with his playing hahaa :P

Guitar chamber.
He's so spirited hahahaa

Armando Lopez Moreno, he is from Cuba.
i had a lesson with him, and i played in his matersclass, that time was embarrasing, i wasn't good at all at guitar.
He teached hard to the students about the techniques in lessons, so good.

He played a music in one of faculty concerts, danza del altiplano (Leo Brouwer), and that's my favourite.

Also when he played duo with Christopher Mallett the beattles "Fool on the hill" and "Penny Lane", awesome!

And here are my piano faculties:

Tea Andrijic. She's from Serbia.
I like her alot. She is very nice, although it's quite difficult to talk much to her since it's hard for me to understand her english. hahah

Dr. Nicholas Ong. He's from Malaysia.
I didn't get any lesson with him. all with Tea. But ive seen him playing piano in Gala Concert, he's so COOl!

This is the violin facultiy:

Lilly Homer. She's from San Jose, Calofornia.
She's so cool. Most of students are scared at first, including me. I met her at the orchestra. But soon we found out that she's veery cool and nice!

 This is the Cello faculty:
Matteo Montanari. He came from Italy.
 Wonderful celloist.

 a little wild. hahaa!

I got new friends from the festival, of course! 6 people in a tiny room! hahaa, crazy but fun!
I met many great young musician from other city, island, and there are some from other country too.

And sure we all had fun!!

 Played games.

watch soccer, World Cup!
McD almost every night, at " 3am"!!

We had fun at Taman Safari.

At the Gala Concert, our last day, sad but also happy. :)

Our last night, we wrote comments, on a board.
Those are candice, jossie, me and audrie. I spent great times with them.

And, that's me with Mr. C!
the best guitar teacher ever. =D

This festival is one of the best experiences in my life time!Music is amazing!
